  1. INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE

Komelon UK Ltd is the sole owner of the information collected on the Komelon UK site. Komelon UK Ltd collects information from our users at several different points on our Website.

Users may choose to opt-in to our subscription listing to receive informational or promotional offers from Komelon UK Ltd and its affiliates via mail or e-mail. During subscription, a user is required to give contact information (such as name, address, and email address). We use this information to contact the user about services on our site for which they have expressed interest.

  1. SENSITIVE DATA

We do not collect any Sensitive Data about you. Sensitive data refers to data that includes details about your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about your health and genetic and biometric data. We do not collect any information about criminal convictions and offences.

  1. INFORMATION USE

We store information that we collect through cookies, log files, and/or third party site traffic software to create a profile of our users. A profile is stored information that we keep on individual users that details their viewing preferences. Consequently, collected information is NOT tied to the users personally identifiable information. The data is used to improve the content and layout of the site for all users. We share profile data with other third parties in aggregate form only and no data that can be used to identify an individual is ever shared.

For the session ID cookie, once users close the browser, the cookie simply terminates. A persistent cookie is a small text file stored on the user’s hard drive for an extended period of time. Like most standard Web site servers we use log files. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information. We use a tracking utility called Google Analytics and Hotjar that uses log files to analyse user movement.

  1. COMMUNICATION FROM THE SITE

We occasionally send information on products, services, special deals, and a newsletter. Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive these types of communications in our email marketing

Users of our site are always notified when their information is being collected by any outside parties. We do this so our users can make an informed choice as to whether or not they should proceed with services that require an outside party.

All of our users’ information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information. Finally, the servers that store personally identifiable information are in a secure environment.
